What does it mean to have enough?
We all know about wanting more. Many of us are well acquainted with having too much. But what exactly is enough?
I have spent much of my life so far in the land of excess and overwhelm – spending too much, working too much, moving too fast, wanting more. I’ve been owned by my status and my stuff. I’ve focused so hard on the next thing that I’ve missed the abundance of what I already have. Surviving, but not exactly living.
Then I decided to stop. I began to explore what it means to seek a life of abundance in a world afraid of scarcity. A way to discover what it means to have enough, then to give some away.
My name is Erin. I am an athlete, plant-based cook, recipe developer, writer, designer, researcher and simplicity evangelist.
I once won an epic free throw contest. I am a shameless Katy Perry fan.
I believe that what we put into our bodies, how we move, and how we spend our time and money has the power to fundamentally change us.
I know that lining up our actions with our values can make us better people, better families, better communities.
I also know that most of us, myself included, have no idea what we’re capable of. Physically, mentally and spiritually, we risk pushing ourselves to our boundaries. But change comes from the margins, both in the world and within ourselves.
I’m so glad you’re here.
